Scanning Local Network for Open SSH Ports

If you need to find any open SSH ports on your network, use the following command.  Make sure you substitute with whatever your home network is.

nmap -p 22 –open -sV

You can also scan for other ports by changing “-p 22” to whatever port you want to scan for. The following will look for port 80 which is used by web servers.

nmap -p 80 –open -sV
